Marlee Bedford

Hello, I'm Marlee Bedford, less commonly known as Lulu Berlin (a name that I none-the-less will continue to force onto my stage brethren) graduated from Lompoc High in 2007 and I was involved with the LHS drama program since 2004.

I am more commonly known for my roles as the horrible, diabolic Imogene Herdman from the 2006 Holiday show, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and at the other end of the spectrum, as the goofy, drawlin', self-titled character, Marlee in Godspell. Along with those spotlight roles, Lulu Berlin is also notorious with her fellow drama mates Cici Helsinki and Kathrin Demimsay for their infamous roles as the "Bob's" in the hilarious skits of "Da Braves!" in both Comedy Tonight! 2006 and Comedy Tonight! 2007.

Now, stepping away from being ONSTAGE, I was also helpful BACKSTAGE. During the 2006 Spring musical Narnia, I could be found running backstage helping with the make-up for the zoo of Narnians and Cruelies (one of which was ME! I was pretty scary, too!), making sure that Aslan had his tail on and the White Witch had her wand, running lines with any Narnians, Cruelies, lions, dwarves, wolves, witches, or bothersome Pevensy children...whoever needed it, and doing my ultimate job of entertaining the tech crew backstage while they waited for their light cues (which is no easy walk in the park!).

Aside from saving the world about every 36 hours or so--and running the world, i'll have you know--, I am attending Cosumnes River College in Sacremento (where I will be joining forces with Todd Harper) in hopes of transferring to UC Davis in order to become a professor in history (which is just a front. Batman had Bruce Wayne, the billionaire, and Superman had Clark Kent, the reporter, so now Lulu Berlin has to have Marlee Bedford, the professor.) Before I actually step foot into a classroom, I want to travel the parts of the world that I HAVEN'T seen already, and maybe perform on one or two stages (hopefully, without the necessity of pole adorning them.)

For recreation, I plan on doing major work with my organic techno band titled "Exorcism On the Dance Floor", along with my other bands, "Banana Corpse and Butz" and "Handbags and Pistols". But don't worry, I still have your back! And when joining up with the Ultimate Bunny Slayer, you can be sure that the world will be evil (and bunny) free!
